Bouquet - Silver and synthetic sapphires pendant necklace

With this collection I have been playing with making the metal look like it's been painted.  I wanted you to be actually able to see visible brush strokes or an effect like that.  This style in the art world is called Painterly.  Still abstract with movement but more deliberate texture I suppose. 

A trio of flowers with six round synthetic sapphires in various colourful spring shades.  Set using my favourite cast-in-place process.  I feel this method keeps the spontaneity and movement of the design followed through to the gemstones themselves.
