The Coastal Collection is an ode to nature’s own artistry — a dialogue between elements in constant motion. Just as the shoreline is shaped by water, air, and time, my work at the bench is formed through fire, metal, and stone. Both are slow practices. Both thrive on patience, transformation, and the unexpected.

In the studio, molten metal collides with gemstones, echoing the way waves tumble driftwood smooth or tides carve patterns into the sand. These processes are organic and textural, alive with movement and feeling. At times, what emerges is a deliberate design. At others, it’s a happy accident — or perhaps, an evolutionary design revealed by chance.

Each piece in the Coastal Collection captures this tension between control and surrender, between intention and surprise. They are not perfect, nor do they try to be. Instead, they mirror the coast itself — raw, powerful, and infinitely expressive.
