Weird - Sterling silver oxidised and natural sapphire ring

I love how the oxidation will wear away to show the silver underneath.  Which is turn will reveal more of the texture and interesting folds. 

Oval top is approximately 18mm x 20mm.  8g of sterling silver that has been oxidised for effect. 

Off-centre is an oval, light grey, 7mm x 5mm natural sapphire. 

Inner diameter is about 18mm so would fit an NZ size O - P.  The band, as you can see, is not a perfect circle.
