Mixed Lollies - Sterling silver and synthetic sapphire ring

 This ring is also a mixed bag in regards to the stone settings.  You can see three stones on one side that are cast-in-place inside the metal.  There are other circles which are evidence of stones falling away in the process.  And then there are about ten stones piled on top.  

The sterling silver has been oxidised for contrast. 

11 x 14 x 5mm top (not including stone height).  2.8mm band. 

The band is not a perfect circle therefor the measurements vary, 17.3mm - 18.5mm interior diameter which makes it about a US 7 1/4 - 8 1/4 or NZ O to Q.  I would recommend choosing the larger fit.
